Native American Tea Company: Such a good gift for the holidays
How is everyone? The holidays are approaching rapidly and some of you might be in holidays shopping mode. Or should I say “I am freaking out I do not know what to buy” mode…. Well I gave you some suggestions in this post about wonderful Etsy treasures. So many great ideas in that one! But if that’s not your cup of tea, I recommend you visit the Native American Tea Company site (see what I did there?). If you are familiar with my site, you might have noted that I often include pictures of the different kinds of teas the Native American Tea Company offers. Clicking on any of them will take you to their site. Let me tell you about some of the promotions they have for the holidays. For a more complete post about the company and some of their teas, see my previous post here.
Native American baby swing: greatest tradition ever!
How is everyone!
For those of you who follow my Facebook page, you probably came across a recent picture of a Native American baby swing. Many posted their experience using one or being in one as a kid themselves. Some even sent me their own personal pictures, some posted below. And for that I am very grateful! Sharing their personal memories with me and then you. That touches me. So today, we will be focusing on the baby swing. Information on it, its origins and intended purpose is scarce. Very scarce but here is what I have put together from what I have found and the stories of those who shared with me. Here we go, the Native American baby swing: the greatest tradition ever!
Holiday shopping ideas: Gifts for everyone on Etsy
I hope your week is going great 🙂 If you are like me, you are just realizing that the holidays are basically less than a month away and that you need to get your butt in gear and buy gifts for your loved ones! I was lucky enough to be able to attend a Native crafts and arts fair a few days ago and bought a few presents (for myself too….). But holy crap is time going by fast! So I thought I would review and discuss one of my favorite sites of all time: Etsy. Here I introduce some of my favorite shops or items on Etsy and discuss holiday shopping ideas 🙂 And of course, the articles and shops chosen will be Native American or Native American inspired. But also check out their Holiday Gift Guide, full of shopping ideas for everyone! But here I want to focus on moms. Your mom and all moms. Those hard working women who need and deserved to be spoiled. What they would want for themselves as well as their little ones (and not so little ones…).
